Specific Responsibilities: The Clinical Operations Connect team is focused on standardizing, simplifying and improving standard operating procedures, work instructions, and business enabling documents in support of clinical study activities executed by the Clinical Operations department. The position entails work under general supervision for routine tasks and with detailed instructions on new assignments Essential Functions: • Track and update project status information utilizing databases, spreadsheets, and other tools • Assist in preparation and review of meeting materials • Under supervision, review of draft materials (e.g., presentations, communications) • Support development and roll out of new Connect G-Share (SharePoint) site • Support data entry activities associated with new project management platform (contingent upon go-live timeframe) • Interact with other departments as directed to complete assigned tasks • Prepare and deliver a presentation based on an agreed upon project topic at the end of the internship Knowledge, Experience & Skills: • At least 18 years old • Undergraduate enrolled in a 4-year accredited university/college; including in Fall Semester after internship • Minimum GPA of 3.0 • Interest in health sciences, project management, or related field • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills • Proficient in basic Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) • Ability to complete 10-12 consecutive weeks between May and September • Please note, no relocation is available for this position
